Show #50 – A Milestone Show!

Happy Easter!

Show Highlights:

  • “Maui Jim” provides a very entertaining “Brief History of Hawaii”
  • Coach tells the tale of his brush with infamous drug dealer “White Boy Rick”
  • Our Comments on the United Airlines fiasco
  • Mike’s “Case for historical Christ”

From Mike:
This is an interesting show in that the music is not aligned with the content.
I picked music to capture the Easter season somewhat, and while the YCS doesn’t take itself seriously and, as is usually the case, makes light of serious subject matter during our talking segments, the music is somewhat misaligned, disjointed from the show. At first listen I thought “bad idea”. This isn’t working. Then I looked at it in a different light. Maybe the music, for some of us, is the respite we need from this crazy mixed up world. Maybe it is a reminder that things can be different. Without getting preachy, I hope you do find some solace in YCS #50’s musical selections.
